🐠 Review: Deep Blue Professional ADB12012 Betta Scoop Fish Net - 2x2 Inch, Coarse Review

This net is very strong and the perfect shape and size for Beta fish. Good for cleaning the fish tank and has a small loop for easy hanging next to the fish tank. I'm not a fan of the color but this seems to be a favorite for aquarium gear.

For digging out small fish from small areas, when you don't want to disturb the water/dirt with fine mesh, this should be in your net arsenal. This is the smallest size of the grid rectangle with the largest cell. The mesh size is large, so not for zooplankton, but for small fish.

I bought this to accompany the beta fish gift to my daughters. The product is being sold towards beta fish but my beta easily nets. It's so small that I have to spread the mesh and try to stretch it before I can use it. Most of the time I have to pour the water from the tank through the net to filter out the fish this way because they are too small to try to catch Betas the traditional way. The product itself is in excellent condition, but the net dimensions are too small for a beta version.

I bought this to use on my cockatiel and wanted a small net as my betta would try in a small tank, even in a small space to fish A lot of net is simply not possible. I ordered this as the description said it was perfect for a betta. I have a fairly large two-tailed crescent and it would barely fit in a web. It works well for small female bettas, very small fish that are only about 1 inch or maybe in tanks with smaller openings, but if you are using an aquarium get a larger mesh for ease of use…
