Minor problems best in Computers and Accessories

Problems: Cons: CPU fan clamps are bad. I had better ones on another aftermarket fan. I can't even get it off with my hard plastic car panel removal tools. It's right in the cooler. Other models have heavier wires at 45 degrees so they rest on the outside of the heatsink. I hope I don't have to take it off for a long time. Thermal paste is a joke, it comes in a soy sauce bag. Like others, buy a genuine Tube Artic. I had to use masking tape to align the RGB header and fill in the gaps. The pins…

Surprisingly very good for the price

New Ryzen processors get hot They get very hot. After upgrading to the new Ryzen 5, it quickly became clear that I needed to use a CPU cooler that was a step or two above the stock Wraith cooler. I have 3 120mm fans that suck air into my case from the front, a 120mm fan that sucks air from the back and a 140mm fan that sucks air like a chimney from the top. The fans blow air through the case and you can easily feel hot air exiting from the top or back, so I was happy with the airflow going…

Great CPU Cooler

This is a GREAT cooler as many have mentioned. It fit in my Raidmax Zeta case with a little more mm. At first I thought it was too big because after installation it seemed taller than my case, but when I put the glass side on it stood like a glove. The RGB is pretty cool, that's one of the reasons I chose it, plus it was cheaper than the evo 212 black edition. It has great reviews and I'm here to add mine. It dropped my Ryzen 5 1400's CPU temps by about 20 degrees Celsius, which is a HUGE drop.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Security

Non-targeted RGB cooler good for your budget

Pros: - low price - looks good - RGB highlight - excellent performance for the price range - spare brackets for 2nd fan - 4 included - RGB pin extension cable to connect RGB fan and heatsink to motherboard. Also comes with a SATA powered line controller for RGB in case you don't have the right connectors. more on that below) - Installation is a bit tricky - the RGB extension cable is a bit loose and easy to unplug. Details: This cooler works great for its price range. My system went from idling

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Poor kit

A step away from greatness

First of all I want to say that I really like this cooler. Looks fantastic and cools well. I have it at 2600x and in Prime 95 it doesn't go past 70s. I wouldn't try to stay at 9900k, but for a lower TDP processor it's great. It's not huge either, which is a plus for me, at least. The included fan is decent at best. Not being a huge fan of the fan style, they would be much better off designing a ring fan and putting one in instead. It also didn't push much air, which is there. You know what he…

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Some bugs

As a longtime fan of the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler, I was very excited when I saw this cooler for sale, so I quickly grabbed it to test it out on my AMD Ryzen 7 1800X. Since not many companies advertise that they work with AM4, this one includes everything IN THE BOX to install directly on your new AMD Ryzen processors and APUs. No additional hardware is required, so you can start cooling your chip with this cooler right away. Once you open the box and cool your chip? Yes. That's…
