Very useful when you need to take a picture of yourself and you are alone. This is perfect for me when I go hiking and want to take beautiful landscape photos. When closed, it is small, so you can easily take it with you wherever you go.

I was supposed to be shooting in the kitchen, but since it's a typical New York kitchen, there wasn't enough room for my ring light. Bought and put on the stove! Ideal! I was able to shoot without worrying about knocking over the large ring light. Tip: It is easier to pull out the stick and then remove the blue dental remote control. I'm leaving tomorrow and this fits easily in my purse.

The mount has a solid grip so I don't stand a chance of dropping my phone on the floor. A stand works well too, but you need a flat surface for it to work.
