DEERU Bicycle Grip Lock - Premium Rubber Handlebar Grip for Mountain Bike, BMX, and Folding Bike - Anti-Slip, Shockproof Review

So I bought them because of the blue color and I liked the double lock and they look really good on my bike as advertised. However, this is completely impractical. I wear riding gloves and get horrible blisters from these grips and they absorb little to no vibration. My hands always hurt after skiing. If you are a casual driver I think they will fit, but if you are a serious driver they will not. For reference, I'm a mountain biker, 5'3" tall, 130 lbs.

My son loves them. You look great on his bike. The only reason they got 4 stars is because I had to modify them as my son's bike is 20" and the handlebars are too short to have screens and brakes. So I had to cut them, notch the ends and trim the thickness. Rubbers around the end to keep the outer ring looking and working properly. It would be nice if they offered shorter handles or made them easier to cut and continue working without further modifications.

First, as many have said, the clamps do not fit properly and do not clamp securely as they are. The clamps fall off too soon and the handle's plastic tube isn't designed to flex and lock properly. I had to wrap a strip of tape around the bars under all 4 clamps before the knobs stopped turning. The clamps have reached their smallest closing dimension. They were really cheap so my expectations were lower. I was very happy with how they fit into the look and feel! I wore them on my mountain bike for 2 months and after probably 8 singletrack rides they are very noticeably worn. Where my palms hit it was smooth. The manufacturer has reduced the price of the handle, which is not made of rubber but of plastic that doesn't hold up. I expect they will last a month or two before I have to change them. I was looking for MTB grips for big hands with an outer diameter of 34mm or 35mm. Hoping that if they state 35mm in the description the outside diameter might be close. Unfortunately not. The outside diameter varies between 30mm and 31mm at best on the grips I received. This is a slight improvement over the other offerings which typically range in outside diameter from 29mm to 30mm.
