I got new doors and needed these strike plates so I went to Home Depot and Lowes where 1/3 of their door hardware is antique brass but found they only have black copper and metal plates. So if you don't want all new door hardware for 1 small piece, get that.

Received in hopes it would match the picture on Revain to match the antique brass hinges I took with me. The picture on the front of the box matched perfectly, but the clasps themselves look like shiny brass, painted black and soaked with a paper towel. The painted surface looks uneven and I even saw paint streaks. Come back and try another company.

Photo in description and on packaging shows an antique finish with fine lines/stripes to complement many brands of decorative door handles and other door hardware. That's why I bought it, only to be disappointed that the finish on the unit that was actually shipped to me was a mottled finish that didn't even come close to matching the advertised photo.
