Just what we need to renovate a van entertainment center. We saved over $800 by fixing it ourselves instead of going to the dealer.

I think the tape is a bit longer than the stock cable but it works. Tested 2 days in the car with 1 and 4 years and without DVD player. The world has been restored.

It took 3 hours to remove everything from the van and then 1 hour to put it back after replacing the broken part with this one - still nothing. Had to order from another seller for the part to work properly.

We used this in our town and village 2013. Our son pushed the screen back too many times and some fibers in the connection snapped. That solved the problem! Now to figure out how to reach my little one without moving the screen further than it should go!

I have a 2016 caravan and this is the cable I needed but it ended up being 3" too long and I'm worried it will unwind over time will stretch because it keeps getting stuck opening and closing and I will have to keep replacing it. However, this solved the issue I was having and saved me about $1,000 in screen replacement costs, so it's worth the risk.

Fully functional! If your screen turns on and you see everything that was recorded as a video, this is the solution. It hurts at first, but once you've done this work six times, you'll quickly get over it. You'll need to use a drill (it's faster) and you'll need a Phillips bit, a hex bit, a size 7 and 10 head, and that's about it. You can also use the lever, but you can just grab all the panels with your finger. PLEASE BE CAREFUL. RIBBON IS BLUE SIDE UP. SILVER SIDE DOWN. Much luck!

Much better than paying your Mopar dealer over $1,000 to fix your DVD player! After reading many forums online about how to fix the bottom screen in my Chrysler Town & Country I bit the bullet and bought this ribbon cable. Disassembling a console in a van can be a bit tricky, but YouTube is great for learning!
