It stands on a very small platform, you can put two of them side by side and don't get much storage space. The product is easy to clean. We'll buy another one. We have another dehydrator that is good, but this is by far the best. It costs twice as much as the other, but it's worth it. Today we dried 8 pounds of carrots. It took both dehydrators, but it was worth stocking up on groceries for the winter.

I love everything about this dehydrator. Perfect drying of apple and pear slices takes 9 to 10 hours at 140F or 149F. My wife loves dried yams (pre-cooked), zucchini, and carrots. We don't cover the food with anything, we just cut and dehydrate. It is easy to clean and store. I am satisfied with this product, the delivery etc. I wish I had chosen a model with more than 5 trays. If you need a dehydrator then this is what you need.

This is definitely better than our old dehydrator from the 90's haha. Very smooth and clean and I love that it's rectangular instead of round like our old one. It's easier to store. Has a lot of layers with lots of space. Our first round of testing involved drying hot Santa Fe peppers to grind for spice blends. Took 4 hours and dried well. I loved this machine. I had it less than 6 weeks and made 3 batches of tomatoes/cabbage/peaches/peppers. I used it for the 4th time today and it's going away. The fan mechanism is broken. No airflow.
