I do not know who they made it for! I'm 5 8 inches and 125 pounds. I'm not overweight at all! But the knee in the largest adult size is still too small for me as you can see in the picture. I measured my foot before ordering and based on that it should fit well, but it's still too small. The wrist is sewn perfectly! The elbow portion is very tight but still usable, and the knee portion is generally unusable. It's made for kids

We use them for roller skating for my daughters both of whom are 5 years old. The bandages move around the youngest daughter's arms even when they are in the tightest position. They also left marks on children's hands and were not very comfortable. These problems can be prevented by placing a washcloth or similar object under the child's arms for a better fit. Superb work from the masters of design who recognized that placing the receiving side of the Velcro on the front provides a closer fit. Other, similar designs in the same size would require my 9 year old son to have 24 inch handheld pythons to fit based on Velcro placement. Not the most comfortable thing but I can't imagine pads being comfortable. The main thing is that they do their job!
