Now Power Delivery is a big mistake

I wish I had read the reviews before buying this product. It does a pretty good job of adding ports (HDMI, VGA, USB-A), but the lack of USB-C power delivery is a major downside. My MacBook Air only has 2 USB-C ports, so I need an adapter that can also provide power in case I need another USB-C port during a presentation. In fact, this device will live in my box since I replaced it with a Gikersy Type-C adapter: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07PG1HY2N/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_ulyqEbXHQNGC9.

The lack of end-to-end PD (Power Delivery) transmission is real.

Missing PD (Power Delivery) pass-through is a real shortcoming and shortcoming. I was able to get full 4k on the HDMI port but not on the DisplayPort. (Using the new Dell XPS 13 9370). For the price it should have PD.

Tested with a new Late 2016 Macbook Pro without Touch Bar.

Tested with a new Late 2016 MacBook Pro without Touch Bar. I was hesitant to get this due to the sheer volume of bad reviews but I was encouraged by the good reviews from all Mac users. I can verify that all four ports are working right away on my new Macbook Pro without installing drivers. The design of the device is perfect. It's very compact and the cable tucks completely inside the device, giving you a slim bar that's easy to remove and doesn't snag on anything. The cable is made of very…

I bought this adapter for my 2017 MacBook Pro 13" 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports. I knew from the start that it doesn't have an SD card reader like Lenovo's USB-C hub, Type-C aluminum adapter with HDMI port, Gigabit Ethernet port, USBC power delivery, 2x USB 3.0 ports, SD card reader . for Macbook Pro 2016/2017 and other USB-C devices or the elegance of a HyperDrive USB-C hub, the best Type-C DUO 50Gbps adapter for Macbook Pro 13" 15" 2017/ 2016 7in2: 100W USB-C Power Delivery, USBC 5Gbps Data Transfer,
