Not as good as the original

Had a number of issues with this replacement.The part when it ships is sandwiched between two sheets of cardboard and placed in an envelope. Then it's shipped in a second envelope. It is unclear when it happened but this is inadequate support and it arrived bent. Took some time to return it to flat but it was not a prohibitive effort.This palmrest arrives without most of the original grounding and insulation pieces. They need to be carefully pealed off the original and transferred to the…

Touchpad unusable best in my review

I can't even express in words how bad the touchpad is on this, I wish I never installed it. It's not the quickest thing to install, and you have to completely disassemble the whole laptop to replace it, had I known the touchpad would be unusable, I would have swapped it out with my original, now I'm stuck until I can find the time to completely tear down my laptop again, to fix a part that was supposed to be an upgrade.
