Great Laptop - Notebooks

Bought as a gift and had problems. I contacted the seller, they quickly replaced it. This is a wonderful, light and fast laptop. The backlit keyboard is a big plus. If they weren't so expensive I would buy another one.

Pros
  • Windows 10 Professional 64-bit | Warranty ends in 2020
Cons
  • Appearance

Buy a laptop. Become your own helpdesk.

I have purchased two Dell Revain laptops. Prices are low and Dell's long-term factory warranty is huge. But in both cases, it took me hours - HOURS - to update software, drivers, and other tasks to get them up and running. The second laptop bought a few weeks ago was basically DOA. I was ready to send it back but later decided to take the time to fix it. I'm sure these things will sit on the shelf until bought. But come on! Both arrived with no Wi-Fi drivers installed. The first time it took…

Pros
  • 12.5" (1366 x 768) Anti-Glare LCD (non-touch) with webcam
Cons
  • Expensive

Everything works fine although the screen is not the highest resolution

Everything works fine although the screen is not the highest resolution has. Loads quickly and handles multiple tasks well for the average user - the SSD seems to be the main contributor to speed. Battery life is also excellent - claimed 10 hours but I haven't overstated it - probably closer to 6 hours with full brightness and multitasking but it's still great.

Pros
  • Intel 6th Gen Core i5-6300U 2.4GHz (3M Cache, up to 3.0GHz)
Cons
  • Something else
