It was a great monitor. No complaints, no dead pixels, no lag, and best of all, no burn-in. I use Windows a lot and 99% of the time the monitor shows the Windows taskbar at the bottom of the screen. Quality product that works as described. Very easy to install with one click. The stand is adjustable in 3 directions, which is convenient to adjust it to the desired height/angle. I've tried less expensive monitors with better specs, none of the monitors I've tried I would find useable at all. This monitor exceeds my expectations for price, quality and video performance. I use the 1080 resolution setting primarily for everyday computing, email, surfing, word processing, and spreadsheets. I sometimes use 1440 settings for drawing and editing photos. Good monitor with high resolution for daily computer work. I like that it can be used in both landscape and portrait modes, although you have to manually flip the image on the display. Works well for applications and entertainment.

I just bought this monitor as an external monitor for my Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro. Windows 10 defaults to 3200 x 1800 @ 59Hz and it looks great. The specs say it can only run at 2560x1440, but I've verified that it's locked at the same resolution. like the Yoga 2 Pro's screen. I have two 27 inch ACER monitors and their build quality is light years better than ACER. Switch to the 25 inch Dells. Dell, in my opinion, is definitely the best solution for your monitor.

Great monitor! I use it for gaming and the 4ms response time is fine with me. DisplayPort connected for stable performance at 1440p at 60fps.

So I ordered 2 of these monitors as an early Christmas present, but only one of them works really well. The 1440 is amazing IF it works. 2 weeks into the life cycle of the second monitor, the monitor started having a very strange white discharge all over the screen. It has been proven that this is not a computer or cable problem. So it's the monitor :( thank god I have boxes.

excellent monitor, for this size it gives a very good resolution, a good companion for macbook pro with retina; BUT I couldn't get it to work in HiDPI fullscreen in Yosemite or El Capitan (1280x720 HiDPI). By default it ran at 2560 x 1440 with no HiDPI, making the icons too small for my liking, and there was no option for HiDPI 1280 x 720. I even played around with SwitchResX for a while, setting my own resolutions and just couldn't get to it make it run I got HiDPI 960x720 working but lost too

The Dell P2416D monitor arrived on time and was exactly as advertised. It's connected to my desktop and laptop and I use it to switch between them. It is very clear and has no dead pixels. I would buy it again if I needed another 24" monitor.

I really like this monitor! It is excellent for coding and reading literature. And the screen could be set up in paper mode, which is easy on the eyes. On the other hand, this monitor is very tall when used vertically, so I would rather go for a 21" vertical monitor than a 24" monitor in the future.
