The drawer is the best. Very convenient for adding water, filters and coffee grounds. Otherwise there is nothing special about it. Most cabinets are about 16 inches from the countertop. This piece is 13 inches tall so it goes well with wall cabinets. It comes out of two small slits on the back, at the top of the pan.
