Waste of time and money

This ICM lasted long enough to drive out of the garage. The truck is now in the driveway without a jet pulse! Don't waste money. By the way, the ICM controls the injector pulse on the TBI.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Everything OK

This is an exceptionally good product.

I have purchased many of these from various manufacturers with acceptable performance. They all work. This one just worked better than the others from the first engine start. If the package does not include heatsink paste; You will need a little.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Great product, just like the original

I have fault codes 33 and 42. Tested using the factory service manual and it led me to the ignition module. Since Delphi is a GM manufacturer, I chose this one. Works like the original. Comes with heat transfer lube and fits my 1989 Formula 350 perfectly.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Worked 6 months and died

Delphi makes things all over the world. This product is made in China, stay away. It took 6 months for him to die. If I had known beforehand that it was made in China I would have bought another one. Delphi can still make a good product, you just have to make sure you find products made in the US or Mexico.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Waste of money, choose OEM

Bought for an old Firebird that stalled at times. I figured I would get a quality part with Delphi. But a few weeks after installation, the problem reappeared. And when I installed it, I used thermal paste. I ended up buying a GM OEM part (D1984A) and after a few months no more problems. Spend a few bucks more and save yourself some headaches by going OEM. You save money in the long run.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • High Price
