Works as expected. I tried 2 other fuel pumps from an auto parts store and they didn't work. The trick for GM parts from the mechanic I spoke to is to use genuine parts. This Delphi pump is the original pump and I would recommend it before I try and die with anything else.

Great price for a good part from the original supplier. 4 stars instead of 5 because the wiring needs to be redone. But so far it's working great. Solved my problem with the engine taking a long time to start and solved the problem I had for a long time where the fuel gauge only worked intermittently.

Bought a fuel pump, installed and worked for a couple of months. Tried to return or refund money. Revain referred me to Delphi, I emailed them to no avail and no phone number to speak to anyone. They claim a 1 year 12,000 mile warranty, not much use if you have no one to contact. After I took it to the Chevy dealer they told me the fuel pump (new Delphi pump) was bad and cost me a lot. Buy local, at least you can return it if it doesn't work.

I bought this product for my 2000 Chevy Silverado because the original "transmission unit" was defective. I have not personally installed this unit as you will need to lower the fuel tank or raise the truck bed. I didn't have a chance to either, so I left it to a professional mechanic. He told me it was a GM part and was shocked at the very low price I got it for. It has worked like magic so far and now I'm happy because I don't have to guess the actual fuel level in my tank. Very quiet and relatively easy to install. Took me about 4 hours but I took my time and even flushed the tank of all dirt. Installation required a simple email. The harnesses are swapped, I chose to solder my connection but the pump comes with Crip type splices. The pump is fine and runs well. The quality is good, the siphon is now internal and the new pump has 2 guide rods instead of 3 like the old one. This is meant to be an improvement, less likely to bind.
