Easy easy. First take a picture of them with the handle removed.

Easy to do yourself and save some money. The handle was leaking on the left (hot) side. I've found it's always better to replace both, so order two. In the meantime you can replace the seats and springs (Part #RP4993) and apply some silicone grease to the rubber o-ring and seats. Or photograph how the originals sit before removing the retaining rings. This makes it easier to swap them out. I always use OEM parts and not the cheaper aftermarket ones. Over the years I have found myself replacing…

May not match genuine Delta factory parts!

6 year old bathroom faucet began to flow hot water under the side handle. Watched YouTube videos to find out what to do and how to do it. First I bought seats and springs hoping to solve the problem. Did not help. Then I bought a new linkage. Leak not fixed. Then I ordered another stem assembly for the cold water side and IT WORKS! So the lesson here is to solve the problem with both hot and cold. The key is to use original parts and order them from Revain! My piece was in my inbox via Prime…

Quick Fix for Leaking Faucet Handle

Quick and easy triangular faucet replacement for leaking faucet handle. I bought two to replace the triangular lever tap. First, turn off the water lines under the sink. All I needed was a 3/32 hex wrench to remove the handle from the stem assembly and some plumber's pliers to remove the nut that secures the stem to the actual faucet base. Once you do that, it will straight out. Keep in mind the orientation of the plastic tabs and your pen if you don't look at my photos for an idea or the…

Easy to do it yourself! 10 minutes work!

Very easy to install. If necessary, find documents for your device. If you don't have it, then it's pretty easy. First turn off the water supply under the sink or in the house. Open the hot and cold water valves to relieve residual water pressure on the hot and cold sides of the unit. Take away your pen. Remove the large lock nut. Remove the cartridge, pay attention to the orientation before removing. Replace the spring and gasket while they are separated at the bottom so you don't have any…

easy once you know the secret

I had to contact Delta for instructions on how to install this spare on the cold side to make the faucet rotate clockwise. Now that it's installed, the faucet won't drip! Great spare part! Here's the secret: out of the box, this part will likely fit the hot water handle without adjustments. If replacing a cold water handle: Take a photo of the existing cold water configuration before disassembling (ensure you have a good view of the flat side of the D-handle), shut off the water completely…

PAY $250.00 OR $30.00. WHAT DO YOU PREFER?

FOR $30 you can replace both valve stems and seats and springs on a Delta dual handle faucet. There are many videos showing step by step how easy it is. Call a plumber for a quote. I have made. $250.00 is the cheapest I've found. You have to pay the person who answers your call, accountants, utilities, gas, maintenance and wages. I HAVE SOME SUGGESTIONS: Don't buy counterfeit or aftermarket faucet parts. Buy an original part. Take a picture of the valve stem before removing it. Make sure the…

Works great, don't buy replacement parts

I purchased a plastic faucet stem from Home Depot that was not made by Delta but was specified for use with my Delta faucet. Part of the stem was plastic and there was a gap between the stem and the curved plastic pieces surrounding it (stops). Turning the water on and off worked, but the handle wasn't strong once assembled. I was able to bend it back and forth either because of the plastic rod or because of the gap. I bought this Delta build from Revain and it worked great. Very easy to…

Water flows from the stem - new out of the box?

CAUTION. BEWARE. I replaced a 5 year old. old cartridge for a new one out of the box. it leaked. tried a new one. it leaked. in about 30 minutes. I think I figured out why it was leaked. Out of curiosity, I initially thought the stem pivoted too easily. I disassembled the device. very little effort required. collect it back. As a result, the knob turned too easily. even worse than new out of the box. My guess is that the inner ring 0. pulls out of its cavity (perhaps a cone-shaped cavity) a bit
