Excellent replacement part. I would like the manufacturer to develop a better connection with the metal part of the faucet. They tend to wear out after a while. I glue them in place

I purchased this item to replace my shower bypass valve which failed because the spring was putting too much force on the lift rod threads and causing it to fail. Thread and shank are too small for this task. and there is no easy way to update it. I disassembled the deflector by unscrewing the assembly and then cutting about 3/4 inch off the spring. Then assembled and installed in the bathroom. It works much better now, but I suspect it will fail sooner than it should.
