I've heard so many good things about this brush and I'm very disappointed. I had conditioner in my hair and combed it with a wide tooth comb. Then I tried the Denman brush. I divided my hair into small sections. The brush went over the first part like a knife through butter and I was so happy. On my first pass through the neighboring area, the handle broke. They seem to break in the same place.

It broke in the fall. The handle is hollow. It's good for a brush, but not that strong. I have small hands so it seems a little easier to use the broken part but not sure about the others. If you get these and have a similar brush, maybe just swap it out for a more durable brush. I can't believe this is all I'm thinking about right now. Why didn't I just do it. Rschunimagu. All I can say is WOW! I received my comb today and today is washing day in my curly girl. I have very thick medium length kinky curly hair, from 3B to almost 4A. I've used it with my conditioner in the shower and as a final step after applying the styling product by curling the ends onto the brush as I saw in the YouTube video. Don't take it by the handle and expect it to clean 4c hair without a click and this bush will serve you well. I have really coarse, dry 4C hair and on my journey to moisturizing and manipulating it this has been one of my favorite products. Where has this product been all my life!? I don't know what's wrong with this comb but it makes my 3a/3b hair look gorgeous! Now it's in my holy grail of curly hair products. The product does not match the description. I received a completely different item and am not even sure if it is a genuine Denman brush. I think the seller may have put a different brush in the Denman box. I wouldn't be too upset about actually using it, but I have thick curly hair and the boar bristle brush I was given would only mess up my hair.
