I would give it a 4.5 for best hair care
Don't take it by the handle and expect it to clean 4c hair without a click and this bush will serve you well. I have really coarse, dry 4C hair and on my journey to moisturizing and manipulating it this has been one of my favorite products. I use it with a head full of conditioner with extra slip - I use Cantu leave-in but I wash it out and today knot as a leave-in. (I gave it 4 stars because I broke 2 in 18 months. Once on the handle and the second time it had a red bit, the bristles had come loose from the body on the hand.)
