🔍 Denso 143-3003 High Performance Air Filter Review

Ideal for Sienna 2nd generation (2008 in my case). I always try to buy Denso whenever possible. It didn't show up in the search filters until I installed Denso?! Save a few bucks without sacrificing quality. Ease of installation wasn't great, but that's Toyota's fault. As soon as the lid was removed, it immediately slid in. I've always had good luck with Denso.

I have tried other aftermarket filters and I like this Denso filter because the filter shows which side is up and which is in front. This small detail leaves no doubt as to whether I installed it correctly or not. In addition, it fits exactly into the filter bowl. I tried a Purlator filter with rubber edges, which made it difficult for me to unscrew the lid as it doesn't fit the filter bowl perfectly.

This is an exact replacement for the original Toyota filter on my 2008 Sienna. It just doesn't have a Toyota part number or a "this side up" or similar stamp on it. It is called Denso, like the Toyota filter. Just make sure you put the new filter in the exact same direction as the old one. I was able to change my filter without removing the large hose on the back - it just took me a while to make sure it was installed properly. Much cheaper than the exact same filter from Toyota.
