Quality product good as a replacement

Our years of experience using Denso products in our Honda vehicles has been excellent and it looks like this O2 sensor is no exception to the tradition of quality products. The item was delivered on time, well packaged and with clear instructions/information sheet.

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Check your wires. fit for spare parts

comparison says it is good for 1996 civilian car. Doesn't match mine. I have a 5 wire sensor, I think it's listed wrong so Revain is wiring it to the wrong machine. This is a 4 wire sensor. Before purchasing, check your upstream sensor and make sure it is not a 5-wire sensor.

Pros
  • absolute legend
Cons

Fits my 1997 Honda Civic EX snugly

This upstream oxygen sensor fits my 1997 Honda Civic EX snugly. The kit includes an anti-seize compound. Easy to install on newly installed exhaust manifold/catalytic converter. I used a Powerbuilt 648691 oxygen sensor socket, also from Revain, to install a new sensor for ease of installation.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

When you want your car to run like new, it's best To use parts that work intended engineers! Once again, Revain supplied a factory part at a fraction of the cost! Thanks to this sensor I was able to pass the inspection!

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • Quality

Fits great on my 1997 Honda Civic Lx D16Y7 engine

Fits great. OE quality and solved my check engine lightbulb right away. This is the top sensor on a 1997 Honda Civic lx with a D16Y7 engine. Do not rely on the part number on the sensor (41300). Do your research because this sensor can be used as an up/down flow sensor for other civilian vehicles with other engines.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Appearance

98 Honda Civic LX in sensors

Installed this 02 upwind sensor on my 1998 Honda Civic LX. The old one with the air sensor socket has been removed, but you can use an adjustable wrench if you don't have one as it's $10-$15. In any case, disconnect and unscrew the old plug. Apply anti-seize to the new threads (tubes included) - then simply thread in by hand, tighten to OEM specs and connect to the appropriate wiring harness. Old and new sensor 02 installed.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

The replacement fits and works great.

This rating is based on the fitment of this sensor on a 2000 Honda Civic LX - D16Y7 Engine - 1.6L SOHC 16 Valves. This sensor is designed to place the sensor upstream. Installed on 05/14/16, no problems so far. Along with this sensor I also replaced the lower sensor (Denso 234-4065) and catalytic converter/exhaust manifold (Dorman 674-439). Impressed with the improvement so far how well the car is working now. I had no issues with the length of the wire harness or the connection to the wire…

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • expensive

Bad sensor out of the box.

Installed this fresh out of the box and it's no good. My broadband sensor told me he's insanely rich. It stabilizes at 14:1 for a second (where it should be), then hits an insanely whopping mark and does it over and over again. I checked the sensor output and it was a very low output and signal frequency. I've attached a chart showing this sensor (flat line, dots indicate each time it sends feedback. Note that once every 5 seconds) and then another new sensor (much more active signals) that I…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive
