Excellent replacement for the IS300 O2 sensor

This product was very easy to install and works as expected to replace my IS300 O2 sensor (under the passenger seat). There are no problems here. Note that I did not have to remove the passenger seat to replace this cable. Pushing the seat forward as far as possible and raising it as high as possible will give you access to the plug.

Great product! best in Oxygen

I have a 2002 Lexus IS300 and the service check engine light (CEL) came on. After scanning my car for trouble codes it found fault P0161 which is bank 2 sensor 2 O2 sensor. Bought a Denso 234-4517 oxygen sensor. Installation was quick (less than an hour). The sensor is an identical replacement with the correct cable length and connector. Great product!

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Fits 2001 Lexus IS300

Problem solved so this fixed my 2001 Lexus IS300. This oxygen sensor fixed the problem with my car easily if you have the right tools and a little knowledge or mechanical skill it may take about 30 minutes but I did it in 15 minutes. I have the right tools and knowledge, bottom line this sensor solved my problem with the car.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Good price and fits first generation IS300

Great price - local car dealership wanted to pay $100 for a Denso or Bosch. The sensor fits a 2005 Lexus is300 perfectly - the original sensor lasted 15 years and 130,000 miles. It will probably last just as long. One tip - use a string or something on the old sensor before putting it under the rug - this string helped me fish out the new sensors/wires. The entire installation tooling took 25 minutes, including jacking up the car to give a little more room.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Perfect fit, direct replacement for IS300 B2S2 sensor!

I delayed a P0161 fault on my '02 IS300 for probably about 2 years because everything on the internet pointed to removing the passenger seat and reconnecting the wires. I was sure there had to be a better way - and there was! This sensor was a direct replacement for the B2S2 sensor (right after the Y-tube). After fighting and eventually defeating a sensor with an over-the-top PB blaster that had been connected to the car for 153,000 miles, that sensor slid like a dream.

  • Confident

It doesn't seem like much, but with a long cable run.

IS300 B2S2. direct fit. I noticed that the cable from the connector is a bit shorter compared to the original sensor. About 30 cm or so. Doesn't sound like much, but makes a difference with a long cable run. I tried moving the slack inwards and that helped, but be aware it will make little difference. back for an extra room. The sensor fitted directly and looked like the removed original.

Perfect OEM replacement for my IS300

Perfect OEM replacement for my IS300. My check engine light came on and I checked the code. It was an oxygen sensor. Replaced it with this one and all is good. It was pretty easy to replace since I ordered a sensor socket (things go a lot easier if you have the right tools). I highly recommend buying a sensor plug if you are replacing an oxygen sensor. Apply a little PB Blaster to the sensor the day before attempting to remove it and it comes off very easily. The hardest part for me was getting

Direct fit made easy with Denso!

CEL for my 2005 IS 300 code P0057. Bank 2, Sensor 2. Direct fit made easy with Denso! No cutting wires, no military service. Just connect! Did a little research and found that instead of removing the entire front seat to access the O2 sensor port, some people have moved the passenger seat all the way up and forward. I decided to give it a try, if it doesn't work I'll have to remove the seat. It worked and took about 20-30 minutes! The hardest part was removing the O2 sensor from the catalytic…
