Didn't fit in my car and then I was charged.

Didn't fit in my car and was then charged for return shipping. Someone must have sent it back before me because the plastic bag in the box was torn. This sensor has an oval connector, but my car has a round connector. both sensors.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Not the best

Perfect for 2004 Ford Focus SVT

Perfect for 2004 Ford Focus SVT. Came with a small tube of high temperature nonstick coating. The cable was more than long enough. I was concerned about the spacing as others have found that some replacement O2 sensors may be too long. No issues with it, a bit close but no worse than a Ford OEM part.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Hard to say

Good parts in parts range

I live in a state and county where people are expected to check emissions. My car had O2 sensor codes so I replaced my original sensors with Denso. It's been a few years now and it works fine. They are inexpensive and have lasted thousands of miles and years! If you have a Ford it would be a good idea to bring a wrench to install this. If you live in a snowy country I would probably smear the threads with some anti-seize. Denso makes quality products.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Only available in black

Exact replacement OEM

This sensor is an exact replacement for the original equipment. It even came with some sort of anti-seize thread compound. Replaced the original on a 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid that has clocked over 190,000 miles. The hardest part was removing the old part and screwing in the 18mm thread before installing the new block. Using an offset oxygen sensor socket and 18mm faucet is highly recommended for this job. I think Denso is the OEM for this sensor.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Really don't like it, everything is fine

Better quality than the OEM Motorcraft O2 sensor it replaced

I had many choices when considering replacing my 1997 Ford Ranger 2.3 liter 4 cylinder engine. I chose (Nippo)Denso's product because of the price and previous experience with their products. The quality is excellent! The anti-seize compound that came with it saved me from buying a whistle. You will need a socket to remove the oxygen sensor (or a wrench) and maybe some penetrating lubricant as the old sensor usually sticks to the plug over time. Took less than 5 minutes and after clearing the…

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • Functionality

Short stuff for oxygen

Listed as fitting before 97 Ford T-Bird 3.8, almost not enough. I had to remove the cable from the bracket to bring the factory cable closer to the connector. The included cable is about 2-2.5 inches too short to reach when routed the same way as the factory sensor. I was able to stick a screwdriver through the hole to support the sensor connector while simultaneously pushing the harness connector onto the sensor connector. Otherwise it would be out of reach and impossible to hold onto the…

Pros
  • Certified by GOLS
Cons
  • There are disadvantages
