Works as expected best as a spare

As Denso is a supplier to Toyota this is the same Toyota part at half the price. After my catalytic converter was stolen (and this one too), I looked for and found it as a viable alternative. After 4000 km of driving it works perfectly. On an '06 Prius you will need to pull back the passenger side carpet a little to gain access to the exhaust pipe connection hole. Sounds more complicated than it is, but it's an easy setup.

Lambda probe Prius

catalytic converter was stolen from our Prius, this sensor is universal, suitable for Toyota Prius 2005-2010. If you have a check engine light and the code indicates a bad catalytic converter it's a good idea to replace that sensor, it will most likely clear it. The sensor works and the check engine light no longer comes on, I've tried cheap ones from ebay, after a week of driving they always give out an engine check code. I've driven about 4000 miles on an aftermarket catalytic converter and…

Just what I needed

I had a 2007 Prius with over 250,000 miles and was told I needed a new catalytic converter due to codes being displayed by the check engine light. After a bit of research, this is often a much cheaper solution, so I gave it a try. Installation was surprisingly quick and painless and once I cleared the engine codes all was fine. The problem did not reappear after a few weeks. Tip for those looking to do this: see if your local parts store will credit special tools. I looked at the O2 wrench…

This sensor was very quick and easy to install in my 2005 Prius

This sensor was very quick and easy to install in my 2005 Prius when I was rebuilding its exhaust. Luckily no error codes popped up and everything worked fine. It fits the Prius as a bottom sensor and is easily accessible from both sides; The sensor itself simply bolts onto the exhaust pipe, and the connector is located in the cabin under the passenger mat and center console plastic. Neither need to be removed completely, just pulled out far enough to unplug/replug. It comes with a new rubber…

Excellent replacement oxygen sensors

I needed new oxygen sensors for my 2001 Prius and went to several websites to compare prices. Those were the best prices and that's what my manufacturer used, so they kept the automaker. My little car was having some trouble with the engine lights and this seemed to fix the problem. Definitely recommend this to people who need to replace these little guys that usually last around 120,000 miles. They come with liquid copper so you don't have rust in the oxygen sensor area, allowing for easy…

Perfect fit for my 2007 Prius

After some asshole cut the catalytic converter out of my 2007 Toyota Prius I needed a new 02 sensor. This Denso 02 sensor fits perfectly and works great. Unlike the cheap Chinese 02 sensor, I'm not worried about having to replace it again in a few months. One note is that the 2nd generation Prius' 02 sensor is connected to the car's computer through a hole in the bottom of the body. upper left corner of passenger footwell. To access this you need to remove the passenger floormat and then pull…
