DENSO is a brand to buy

A brand recommended by a mechanic friend. It worked great and the price was reasonable. Stick with the Denso brand for all future sensor purchases.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Operating speed

Solved Faulty "Check Engine " Light - O2 Sensor Code

Dealer wanted to replace my upstream and downstream oxygen sensor and cat exhaust system for $1500 to get the "CHECK ENGINE" - Fix light problem. I decided to change the oxygen sensors myself. Fix that and I get 28mpg versus 23mpg before new sensors. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Replacement brand OE

This O2 sensor is the same sensor used on a dealer exchange on my 2002 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS. I installed this sensor at 123,000 miles to resolve CEL code P0136. Problem for the last 200 miles and seems to be working properly! Also includes anti-seize paste to apply to threads prior to installation.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Minor

Will not fit 2004 Subaru Forester

I am sure this product is great but when I bought it for my 2004 Subaru Forester it did not fit. Although the Revain product and workshop confirmed that the O2 sensor would work with my car, the connectors on mine were different and the O2 sensor would not connect to my car. The thread in the dowel hole was great!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
