Replaced my fully welded front O2 with this 1/10.

Replaced my all welded front O2 with this one at 1/10th the price of a stock sensor. Worked. Immediate improvement in handling.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Bare manual

Delivery took longer than expected but it was worth the wait

Item arrived right on the first time and fits the EVO IX perfectly. Denso supplies the OEM sensor and the retail price is $300. . My 06 EVO IX SE has just done 42,000 miles and the original sensor has failed. I think lucky in the draw. Hope that helps.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Nothing

Fixed my check engine light!

Installed this oxygen sensor in my SUV. I bought an upper and a lower sensor (different part numbers). After installation, people stayed on for about 30-40km, after that it turned off by itself. So far the lights have stayed off and the SUV runs and drives much better. I was told I needed a new catalytic converter but figured I'd replace the sensors first. I'm definitely glad I did it. Installation took about 30 minutes, great price.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Absolutely fit and perfect!

Revain is a good place for auto parts once you get the part model and you can find it here. It's been a few months, my CEL stayed, my local shop said I had a faulty front O2 sensor and asked a ridiculous price, Amazon is about half the price! I installed this on a Mit 4g63, the part fits and works great, the original factory part is also denso and this part is almost identical except the cable was a bit longer. Did it myself and only took 35 minutes, the CEL light went out immediately after…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • No mold required

I totally agree with the previous one.

The full installation of my Evo IX BBK was halted due to this faulty O2 sensor in the front housing. I found out at 5:30pm and was offered $360 for a replacement which was delivered a few days later, APP-RR! so i looked around And found this page: [.] Which seemed to confirm that Denso 234-4741 replaces Mitsubishi 1588A064. I still wasn't sure, but I kept looking and found the following: [.] "OXYGEN SENSOR CROSS REFERENCE" confirmed on page 46 that: Mitsu MN153010 = Denso 234-4741 Due to Revain

Perfect replacement Intake O2 Sensor for 2006 Evo IX

I have noticed my Mitsubishi Evo 9 gas mileage has gone from the normal 22-23mpg to around 19mpg with no heavy driving. I only go back and forth. Work (about 50 miles round trip on the freeway). My low fuel warning light came on early and it surprised me. Since my check engine light is always on due to a bad EGR solenoid, I have to check my codes from time to time. Turns out I had a P0031 click with a P0134 HO2S heater control circuit low. The cause was a defective heating element in the…

  • Quick Change

Replacing the O2 sensor makes an amazing difference in fuel economy!

My 20G Evo 9 2.3 liter stroker with 20G Turbo lit up from time to time, especially in traffic. The code was P0170 Fuel Trim Bank 1 / Faulty fuel system. My LTFT fuel trim was +25% so the warning light came on. This indicated the engine was running lean but at WOT there was a huge puff of black smoke coming out of my exhaust indicating it was rich. Further examination of my spark plugs found them to be cakes of black soot and dry carbon, again indicating they were very rich. My bumper was also…
