Perfect fit for CA 2001 Camry 4 cylinder

After a smog crash due to an invisible code in the background (P1135), investigation revealed the new oxygen sensor was fine. The Toyota branded version of this part is over $200 which is less than $100. It's the same part except for different markings on it, one of the easiest $100 savings ever. Also, this is by far one of the easiest Camry repairs as it sits right in the center of the exhaust manifold at the front of the engine bay. After installation, the car passed the smoke with honor.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Update availability

Fixed my mistake P1135 Bank 1 Sensor 1 (2002 Camry 4cyl)

This is for a 2002 Toyota Camry 4 cyl. I have a terrible error code "P1135 Bank 1 Sensor 1". I read something and I was 90% sure it would solve my problem and it did. The entire exchange took about 15 minutes. It would have taken 5 but I unnecessarily removed the heat shield on the exhaust manifold. You do NOT need to remove this if you bought an oxygen sensor socket (TEKTON 4929), which I did. Anyway, I removed the old sensor (easily with a power outlet), applied the included lube to theโ€ฆ

Easy Repair For 2001 Toyota Camry 4 Cylinder P1135 Code

Denso is the OEM for 2001 Toyota Camry 4 Cylinder. This means that it exactly fits and replaces the air/fuel ratio sensor that comes with the car. Watch some YouTube videos on how to replace this part, rent a removal tool from AutoZone and it takes about 10 minutes. correct. I was able to do this in the dark so it's pretty easy. The Toyota dealer tried to charge me over $400, luckily I did my research first. Don't panic if the check engine light is still on after turning on the machine for theโ€ฆ

Buy a new one for such a critical part

My "Einlos" experience may not be representative, but the "Used - Almost New" sensor that was delivered to me showed numerous signs of wear: the brass plating on the tip was completely burned off/worn off, the tip was covered with debris and badly discolored, sensor body threads are uneven and filled with old granular particles (?old lubricant?), sensor base is discolored and corroded. To be honest any scrap yard can easily match or surpass the part I got. Computer-controlled engines areโ€ฆ

  • Everything is fine!

  • High Price

A simple replacement for a 2002 4 cylinder Camry, works great.

I have a 2002 Camry with a 4 cylinder engine which makes this sensor very affordable. The heater (two black wires) on my old one failed open circuit at about 103,000 miles. I bought a matching socket (TEKTON 4929) with a slot for the sensor cable. I was willing to fight to grow old. Much to my surprise and delight, as soon as I squeezed the handle of the wrench a little, the old one fell out immediately. The new one comes with a tube of anti-seize, which I carefully applied to the threadsโ€ฆ

  • Practical matter

  • The list will be long.

2000 Toyota Camry LE 4 Cylinder

So I forgot what code I was given for my 2000 Toyota Camry 4 Cylinder, but it is the catalytic converter code. To find out if it's a catalytic converter or not, get an OBDII connector and see what the current is at the O2 sensor. You should also check where and where the O2 sensor is located. Here's what I did. The current was too low or too high, I forgot, but I replaced this O2 sensor. Then the next step is to clear the codes and wait for something to happen. So far, so good. If for someโ€ฆ

ideal best in spare parts

"tested eng lite" for a few weeks. After a free check at Advance Auto Parts I was told it was an oxygen sensor, bank 1, sensor 1, but I was a bit skeptical after looking around at various budget auto parts stores because they gave me different part numbers and I don't want you to do not install, remove and return the wrong sensor. Also, the cheapest one is over $150 (I found out later on Toyota Parts that it's $250!) So I did a little searching for my Camry 2003 LE 2.4 ltr. Engine on Revain and
