OEM Lighting and Electrical Compliant

Liked: Price was $45-50 less than local parts stores. This O2 sensor fits Denso OEM sensor. Easy installation in about 10 minutes. Dislikes: Nothing to report. I only rode about 170 miles with the newly installed sensor. The vehicle has not yet completed a drive cycle to reset the ECM. Will be updated if anything negative comes up.

  • Confident

Fixed code P0158 on a 2009 Toyota Sienna

I bought this sensor to fix code P0158 on a 2009 Toyota Sienna LE V6. After replacing banc2 sensor2 (downstream), as the code description says, the problem was not solved. After further research I found a tech bulletin from Toyota stating that the problem is indeed the upflow sensor (this article) but the logic in the ECU is faulty and it's throwing this code instead. It was easy to replace and the problem was fixed.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Do not use for Toyota Camry 2004-2006

I followed Denso website. This shows that I can use 234-9049. Even though my smog happened with this sensor, my car has trouble accelerating from 0 to 50 mph. After 50 km/h it is ok. I have also noticed that my car consumes more gas (fewer kilometers on a full tank than before). waste of money. I've only used it for two months. I replaced this air fuel mixture sensor with another brand sensor and my car accelerates much faster. Also better on the gas.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • useless function

Compatible 2008 Camry Hybrid Fuel/Air Sensor Front

Works great. Got in fine and added some high temp anti-seize. Gasoline mileage (due to a faulty sensor) went from 28mpg to 37mpg. Very easy to replace with a 22mm wrench, some long needle nose pliers, a 10mm socket and either a flat head or little fingers. I recommend getting a new engine air filter at the same time you unplug the housing (10mm head) unless you have REALLY little fingers to pry the connector off.

Pros
  • Sleek Design
Cons
  • Modern

2003 Camry 2.4L XLE California Emissions

Low Current Sensor 1 DLC Bank 1 (P0031) Searched the Denso website for the correct part. It turned out that if 234-9041 is not available, the description is given under the order 234-9049. Using a voltmeter, I checked the "open" on the sensor's heating element. It was really "open". By the way, be sure to clean the connector (on the wire harness side, not the sensor side) with an electronic cleaner such as CRC QD Cleaner. Our Camry has over 143,000 miles on the clock and it turned out that the…

1/2 price factory original sensor

I bought this sensor to replace a broken one in our 2009 Toyota Sienna. It's the same you would buy from a Toyota dealership, only the price was about half the dealer's price! I was concerned that the old sensor would be difficult to remove. With the engine cold I sprayed the threads of the old one with penetrating oil and it came out the next morning with minimal effort. When I installed the new one, I lubricated the threads with a small amount of anti-seize. Total running time: 20 minutes…

Worked on V6 RAV4 Limited 2008 Release P0051 Trouble code

V6 RAV4 Limited 2008 engine, traction control and 4WD lights on. Disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it only helped dim the lights for about half a day before turning them back on. I used an OBD-II reader to find the P0051 code. This pointed to an O2 (aka Air/Fuel) sensor in Bank 2 Sensor 1. Bank 2 is on the even number side of the cylinder; On the RAV, this is the side facing the front of the vehicle. Sensor 1 means it is in front of the catalytic converter which is easily accessible on

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Write later

Got code P0051 heated O2 sensor bank 2 sensor 1 code on a 2008 Toyota Sienna 3.5L LE and called another I think C1201 or something. However, I only got P0051 at first so I figured that was the main culprit and read online that the code would set off a different code due to the networked system. I am going to replace the original Toyota part number 89467-08050 Denso 1190 01K03 with this one (Denso 234-9049) and all the Check Engineer, Track Off and VSC lights are off. I lubricated a PB catalytic

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive
