    The right tool for the job

    Great little tool for setting the depth on a router and table saw. The aluminum is smooth and the edges are very clean. The labeling of the pressure gauge is clear and easy to read even with glasses. Love using this with my table saw, at the right depth every time.

    Cheap powder paint spoils a useful tool.

    This is a useful little tool that lets you dial in tons of different depths with a fairly small tool. However! There seems to be a tendency to put an immensely thick layer of powder on them to make them look beautiful. The result is a tuning tool that is not accurate enough for many purposes. A thick coat of powder paint on an ugly piece of metal doesn't make a good tool, it makes it cheap.

    MEASUREMENTS ARE INVERTED!

    Love this concept, this depth gauge is quick and easy. This one is well made and I like the bright color (so I can see it buried in a shop or tucked in an apron pocket). However, this has one fatal flaw: the dimensional engraving for the table saw section is FROZEN. The largest dimension (2 inches) is the smallest depth and the smallest dimension is the top.
