Works Great: Cooling Lines

No problems with these fittings. Perfectly sealed. If you are having trouble with leaks, watch the Brass Compression Fittings Installation video.

All connections are solid, no leaks

Excellent quality fittings. I used them to connect my transmission lines on a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country with a new Hayden transmission cooler. All connections are tight, no leaks.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • There are nuances

I spent money on these fittings that I didn't make.

They are expensive and I have not used them. I found that all I had to do was slip the hose onto the pipe and clamp it with a clamp. I have no leak. I spent my money on these fittings that I don't need.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Speed

Works but could be better

The compression side of this fitting works great and fits snugly into the transmission line. You must use teflon tape on the side of the tube fitting to prevent leaks. Not a bad decision, but if someone had a better design it would be worth it.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

I ended up throwing them in the trash after transmission fluid spilled all over my floor, which made me do this while tidying up. I refuse to use unreliable fittings that may or may not work as intended and as shown. Also, I'm not used to overhauling things to make them work, and I can't afford to screw up my drivetrain with these poorly designed fittings. I do not recommend it due to the cost of repairing the gearbox if that part fails, which it did in my case. However, if you have the money…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • No Instructions
