Derale 13035 Radiator Adaptor Fitting Review

Fits perfectly, works great. The product does not look like the unpainted product in the photo. However, it is anodized aluminum. It's NOT plastic. It is black in color and proportionally shorter than it appears in the picture. That's exactly what the paragraph says.

I'm not sure why GM pursues so many things (profit I guess) by making proprietary connectors for everything. Anyway I installed an extra transmission oil cooler and had to hook it up to an existing GM fitting on the cooler, this guy is perfect. Thanks Daryl!

This is metal not plastic, check my picture for a scratch for proof. It's not magnetic so it's probably aluminum, it's pretty light for being anything else. I gave it 4 stars because the price is quite high, I think it should be around $5 not $11. I could get the whole replacement cord about 18 inches long for $20.

I had to purchase this Derale Radiator Adapter to fit a Hayden Radiator on my 2012 GMC Terrain. It worked perfectly and matched my car model well. The pictures show the radiator radiator as the adapter is attached to a hose on the bottom of the dolly and is difficult to photograph without lifting the car to photograph.

I was hesitant to buy this adapter because of the reviews. However, after he bought it, it turned out that it was actually a metal adapter, just with a black finish. People really need to review the products they receive before leaving a review. I almost bought this great adapter because ignoramuses claimed it was cheap plastic.

It works as it should. BUT I feel lied to. It shows metal when you put in a part number, it shows metal when you look at this addon. Nowhere says it's plastic. But I paid $15 assuming I would get what is shown in the picture. Metal transline adapter. But mine is plastic. Feels like false advertising. You get 1 star for that. What if it breaks in less than a year?

I read the reviews and I knew what I was getting into; However, when it arrived I was angry at myself for not listening to my instincts. In short, the item pictured is not what you will receive. I didn't take a picture but there are others here and they are accurate. It's a black adapter and while I know a thing or two about the material, I can't tell if it's plastic or aluminum. I'm 99% sure it's plastic. Although the adapter fit right into my 2009 GMC Yukon radiator, it didn't "tightly seal".
