If you have a Toyota Tundra or Nissan Titan with a 5.6 liter V8 petrol engine, you need it. These cars come from the factory with a tiny oil filter. I replaced mine with these and routed the supply and return lines to the Amsoil dual remote oil filter housing. This gave me three liters of extra oil and also allowed the use of a high capacity full flow filter combined with a 2 micron bypass oil filter. Changing the filter is now much easier and my engine will no doubt last much longer.
