Nice but small

Good but runs small. It's VERY tight on the shoulders of my 17-hour Warmblood, but it does the trick to keep his run from getting worse. I love that it attaches through the front legs and also in the harness area. I know my gelding is exceptionally tall, but after about 2 weeks the front seam tore down the middle. Although it still works. I wish the material was as stretchy as more expensive brands.

The answer is my OTTB was eaten by flies!

This saved my OTTB from flies that literally ate it alive! Flies don't touch my bay, but they run after this one like crazy. It's fine and well tested, but something about it drives the flies crazy and nothing has worked before. I've tried everything. His chest was badly bitten. It saved him! That, fly mask and leggings make his life MUCH better! I don't leave it on overnight but it stays at home so is constantly monitored. It makes his life much easier and also makes my life easier and better.

All parts of this shoulder pad have not been measured to fit the expected size.

I bought this protector specifically because it has a strap that goes between the horse's front legs to keep the protector from riding up onto the horse's chest and getting under the front of the rug. The strap was 6-8 inches longer. It hung so loose that I was afraid the horse would get caught on it.
