Good price and works well for me in the drain line. If you don't need a full flow valve, this is a good choice. With stainless steel it is advisable to use an additional thread sealant as stainless steel threads are difficult to seal in contrast to brass or bronze. My application is 100% exposed to salt water, I needed corrosion resistant valves including handles. Again, if a full port is not needed or locking handles are a good choice.

slightly too deep. I use it for very low pressure so I wrapped a lot of teflon tape around the pipe threads and it worked fine. I wanted a stainless steel drain valve for a plastic fermentation bucket and it suits my needs, but the threads can be an issue in higher pressure applications. maybe even better.

IDK. The photos were so beautiful and the price so low that I jumped at it straight away. In my mind's eye I saw a 4" long body with a 5/16" ball bore. A closer look at the photos. should wake me up but as you can see in the photos it is 1.75" long and the ball valve hole is 3/15". I keep it to myself but it doesn't work on my hose reel. Bottom line: This looks like it should work for some apps, but I removed a star because they might show the object next to it for reference.
