After I put it to the test, I was extremely impressed with the variety of shades and textures the set offers. The charcoal blends seamlessly on paper, making it easy to create stunning drawings. The set includes a range of tools that can be used to add detail and depth to your work. The only downside to this set is that it can be difficult to erase mistakes once the charcoal has been applied. Overall, a fantastic addition to any artist's collection!

I am shocked at the poor quality of this charcoal. It's no better than the cheap nameless brands I've bought before; very rough and granular, difficult to work with. General is much better.

I bought this pencil for a drawing class when my teacher recommended Derwent and I'm so glad I did. We did charcoal sketches for several classes and this set had all the tools I needed. I had another set of charcoal and Derwent is much, much better.
