Pros and cons from someone who owns other well known high end brands

PROS: They are extremely pigmented and have a soft/creamy feel, they look very vibrant on paper (maybe even more so than Prismacolor). This is one of the thickest crayons I have, the packaging is strong and great. Good color choice. CONS: They don't layer as well as Prismacolor or Polychromos, after a few layers they feel a bit waxy. not suitable for small parts. Overall I recommend them, they're a great addition if you already own several different brands. If not, then take the Prisms first…

These are exciting pens. I've been using Prismacolor and Bruynzeel for years (I bought some old Bruynzeel off eBay and love them). But the shades and consistency of these Derwents give me another exciting color experience that I prefer at the moment. I'm uploading some things I've been working on from a book I bought recently, Cats and Flowers - Coloring Book - Cats and Flowers: Coloring Book - a very delicately designed and touching coloring book for cat lovers. Thank you Derwent! Thank you…

This set of pencils arrived recently - a day earlier than expected - and they are amazing. There is a good range of colors and the wooden box is a special bonus. It holds pens securely, each has its own channel, and the magnetic bars that keep them in place are awesome. I use them for adult coloring and couldn't wait to color with them and was amazed at how well they lay and blend. If anyone is in doubt about spending money on them or not, don't worry, they cost more than they sell. Here is my…

I love the color but they break and break and BREAK

When I opened the tin I was very excited. The colors are beautiful and I love how they lay down and blend. BUT, in my opinion, they cannot be sharpened without breaking the mines. I broke the leads on 4 pencils on the first day - and they're too expensive for nothing! I've tried different sharpeners and that doesn't seem to be a problem. I don't know if the wires are broken inside or what but I'm sending them back today and spending double the money on a set of Caran D'Ache pencils. I believe…

LOVE this set!: arts, paints and craft supplies

These pencils are soft, smooth and easy to blend. The colors are bright and saturated. I'm not a professional so I don't know all the key terms to write a professional review but as an amateur I was impressed with the colours. Too bad I didn't choose a larger set as there aren't many colors. But the colors are beautiful. Each pen is color coded and the caps approximate the color you will receive on paper. The only thing I can say could be a downside depending on what you do with the pens is the

High prices with many defects

Just in time. I was very hesitant after buying the studios with all their problems. #1 These are big pencils so you need a sharpener with a big hole and they have a round barrel. #2 They have # and names on the pens and colored tip, but there is rubbish, very rough wooden sides, rough paint, a lot of chips, not a good feeling. #3 is too big for the details and the paper eats them up. #4 They don't sharpen evenly and some of them have bits of wood when sharpened. #5 Wires are crumbly and very…

Item-10 Delivery-0

The product itself is amazing. I've been using these pens for several years. The colors are beautiful and easy to blend. I've used them to make handmade Christmas cards and repaint dolls. The product is worth its money. I am ordering this set of pencils for my mom as she used to draw in adult coloring books. The only problem was the delivery. Although I received it very promptly, it was only wrapped in thin bubble wrap and tape. When I opened it, the tin box was creased and sealed with duct…
