Description of Derwent Supplies Waterbrush Medium 2301760

A handy water holder and brush in one for "en plein air" pursuits; water flows to the synthetic fiber tip via a leak-proof valve. Medium size brush is great for broad strokes; designed for use in the field. Also sold in small (2300123) and chisel tip (2301974) or a 3-pc. multi pack (2301975).

Cheap and messy waterbrush for Arts and Crafts

This brush was a disappointment .The water flow was inconsistent and created splotchy marks on my painting. The bristles also shed leaving stray hairs stuck to the page. The only positive was the affordability, but I would rather invest in a higher quality waterbrush. Overall, this product did not meet my expectations FOR arts and crafts projects..

Pros
  • Convenient and mess-free way to apply and blend watercolors
Cons
  • Requires constant refilling of water reservoir

Ease of use and quality

This is my first water brush and I really like it. The bristles seem to be of good quality and hold up well, the cap slips at the end so you don't lose it. Seems to be holding up very well. I used it with FaberCastell watercolor pencils.

Pros
  • Brush Sets
Cons
  • Not as thick as other sets
