NOT SNAKE OIL for exhaust and emissions

All I can say is that this product works! When used correctly I find that it retains heat very well. I used this foil (plus silicone spray) to wrap test tubes on my 2010 Infiniti G37x. Before that, I even covered them with ceramics. While I can't speak for durability, I can speak for a slightly muffled sound (not as squeaky) and heat retention. I will update the review later if there are any durability issues or long term issues. The only caveat to my 5 star rating โญ is that #1. Be careful when

wrapped around the exhaust of my side X. Reviewed on multiple chat sites, this case seemed like the best choice. A lot of people have been talking about the cheaper fiberglass products and the need to moisten the foil to avoid some of them. It will also fall apart in a few years. Only wanted to do it once so spent the extra money. When I did this for the first time, everything worked great. It was a little tricky getting the exhaust out, but packing it up was pretty easy. Works perfectly! on parts

See a lot of people say that wrapping your headers doesn't matter. From my experience I can say yes. The difference isn't that the car magically gets cold, it's that the temperature drop is real. My legs no longer burn and it's cooler in my cabin. I wrapped my two long pipes and it worked for me. However, there are two things you should be aware of. Firstly, if you're wrapping headers like me, make sure you buy about 100 feet. And secondly, and this is the most important thing in my opinionโ€ฆ

Works well but wear gloves

I bought this by accident not realizing the headers I bought came already with a roll of this exact product. I will say it absolutely works and doesn't discolor like fiberglass wraps. Although I didn't put an infrared thermometer on it, it at least insulates the heat on the hand. I haven't noticed any higher oil temperatures and my manifolds wrap around the oil pan (Subaru engine, original manifolds had fiberglass insulation). It was pretty easy to cut and install, but it took a bit (like anyโ€ฆ
