All I can say is that this product works! When used correctly I find that it retains heat very well. I used this foil (plus silicone spray) to wrap test tubes on my 2010 Infiniti G37x. I bought this by accident not realizing the headers I bought came already with a roll of this exact product. I will say it absolutely works and doesn't discolor like fiberglass wraps.
