I have very fine, fine hair and this hold is enough to give the hair a little fluff without getting too sticky and heavy. I have a short haircut and this seems to work well for her - not sure how well this would work on longer hair. It feels like a very light, non-greasy wax. I notice that some shampoos don't seem to wash this out very well and can build up (hair still feels slightly textured/waxy - not necessarily a bad thing?). It seems to depend on the shampoo and how dry/cleansing it is.

I ordered this from Amazon because I wanted faster shipping than the company's website. Works as described. Watch the video, play with it. I've found spraying close to the root, 2-3 sprays per section, works great. Use more and you'll get more volume. I have fine hair but lots of it and the light was perfect. The cool thing is that you can turn it back on simply by running your fingers through your hair.

I love this stuff! I personally have never tried anything like this. Gives amazing texture and great volume. Literally made for a pixie cut.

So let's start with the fact that the product really does give you a TON OF IT! - HOWEVER the residue on your hair and fingers is disgusting - hair feels sticky (although it isn't) and feels heavy - this is definitely made for people with shorter hair who want hold and volume all day want - if you have the same long hair, like mine, it becomes more difficult to manage because you can't run your fingers through your hair like you literally can't touch it all day. It's also a hassle to wash off…

Worst product ever. I'm sorry I waited so long to try this because my return window closed last week. n absolutely not, and I repeat, does not give you completeness. As soon as you pump a little into the roots, hair immediately becomes sticky and unruly. True plagiarism

My hairstylist recently met PuffMe and told me about it. My research has led me to the conclusion that there is a special PuffMe for fine hair that is hard to find in stores. I ordered mine from Revain and am happy with the product. You lift a section of your hair and spray it onto your scalp. It leaves a grainy feel at the roots of your hair - you lift your hair with your fingers and you have more volume. It won't make thin hair thick, but it will add body and volume.

Fantastic article. I like it better than the full version because I can comb my hair at the end of the day (I have a pixie cut, fine hair but there's plenty of it, with a longer wand I need to add volume). but depending on need / hair type, YMMV. As for the hat, be GENTLE. Remove it very carefully - it is not a screw cap. If you disassemble it incorrectly, the pump will appear to be missing.

Three stars for the price. Find someone who has access to a beauty salon (like a barber) that costs less than $9. I liked the product, but the premium is too high.
