This is a very cute pattern, but it's a lot more detailed than it looks in the photo (and more than it needs to be as it's for little ones). My biggest problem is the poor quality of the filament. I've spent as much time, if not more, untangling knots and bundles than making progress. If the thread was of better quality, it would be much better.

Bought for my first and brand new granddaughter (27/07/17). It will look so cute that it will match the theme of your child's room. I can't wait to finish it and go shopping for mats and frames with my son and daughter-in-law when I visit them in North Dakota (I can't choose where the USAF sends my son, a newly promoted captain. I made this for my godson's first birthday. I really enjoyed working on this pattern, all the animals are colorful and fun which is perfect for a young child. I liked that despite the larger design, the drawing was on one sheet (legal paper size) and was still legible. My only criticism is that the finished project is not a standard size (in the US) and was difficult to adjust to fit the frame. I ended up embroidering my godson's name and birth stats at the top and bottom to fill in those empty
