Designer Protein Powder Double Chocolate Review

As in Container. It has a small scoop clip and the lid snaps into place. I'll keep it for the next purchase but it won't be this one. Didn't do much to keep me from getting hungry. It's runny and watery and really doesn't taste very good. It mixes well. Most protein powder reviews say it tastes chalky, but this one doesn't. It wasn't overly sweet either, as other protein reviews have complained. So not too sweet, not chalky, good container but not easy to drink.

I tried Designer Whey's Double Chocolate and Gourmet Chocolate and the Double Chocolate was the clear winner. The double chocolate flavor has great depth and tastes like real cocoa. I think gourmet chocolate tastes like cheap Swiss cocoa. Personally, this protein powder is too sweet for me, so I usually add an extra teaspoon of raw cacao powder to balance the sweetness. I've been using this product for about 9 months and I'm very happy with how I feel the day after using it after a workout. I occasionally mix some with cold water as a "quick bite" while I'm busy at work to last until lunch/dinner. I personally like the taste as it reminds me of cocoa but not as bitter (I don't like sweet powders). The only reason I'm deducting a star is because of the stench it leaves in my water bottle.
