Good scanner with excellent scanning capabilities. However, there are no instructions on how to set the prefix and suffix codes when scanning. If you need a specific setting for your scanner, look elsewhere.

Excellent scanner - good build quality, fast scanning with minimal latency and no setup other than a USB cable. I gave it 1 star for how intense the red light is around the scanner itself - it was too much for our setup but other than that the scanner itself is fantastic.

Easy to use scanner. Easy setup, had to restart my computer for it to be recognized. Works well, scan cards should be 2-4 inches apart, if held too close they will be unreadable. The only problem with this device is that it takes longer to "see" and read the scan cards after a few minutes of inactivity. So the first person to use it will have to wait 5-10 seconds before scanning the card. The next user scans in less than a second. Looks good and works as promised.

The reason for 4 starts is an instruction. In fact there is none. They supply a book with about 30 or 40 6 or 8 barcodes per page, each with a word or two underneath. If you connect your computer before scanning the USB barcode, nothing will be scanned. When you scan a barcode in a book, you need to cover all other codes on the same page. Once set up, the thing works very well. The scan volume is about an 8 inch cube and works equally well both horizontally and vertically. We just put it next…
