Good quality, small design.

Smoke alarms are good enough. They are smaller than the ones you find in your home store. So be aware that if you are replacing old ones and they are larger, you may need to touch them up before burying them. I wanted to save a few bucks so I bought them. I saved a few bucks buying them online but you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Hard to say

GARBAGE! YOUR LIFE CANNOT DEPEND ON IT!

Installed one of these two kits and the LED worked and tested fine but I was a bit skeptical that I saw the wrong grammar on the outside of the box so I decided to re-tap the alarm with test real smoke. 3 times and NOTHING! Complete Chinese junk! Just a box that flashes an LED and beeps when you hold a test bulb.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Beautiful and easy to install

You look great in my house. Easy to assemble. I saw some reviews that said the back doesn't fit. My husband complained about the same thing until he realized that once the battery is in, the metal part is pushed and the back part turns on. You are not a problem if you follow the instructions. They also don't work every time I fry something wonderful!

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • The list will be long.

They were very easy to install

They were very easy to install as I already had 4 inch fire detectors. I feel safe at night when I see the battery indicator flashing from time to time letting me know the device is working. The battery was easy to install too. There are some alarms/detectors that are so difficult to do that Battery compartment to close , but these detectors are very pleasant. Easy assembly, easy battery replacement, etc.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Legacy model

Impressed. for safety and security

I haven't tested them so I can't comment on their characteristics, but I was very impressed with the compact design and ease of installation. As far as there is a feature that prevents the detector from being installed (attached to a wall mount) when the battery is not installed, preventing people from removing a dead, beeping battery and simply reinstalling a useless device. Comes with a quality 10-year lithium battery and drywall anchors. I will buy more.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Unreliable

Easy battery installation!

My old First Alert smoke alarms finally stopped working after about 10 years. What frustrated me the most was how difficult it was to put new batteries in. I was afraid of it. These smoke alarms are much better when it comes to battery installation.***** The alarm cannot be wall mounted without a battery installed. Inside, under the battery, is a small clip that needs to be pushed by the battery to allow the back to fit in the metal detector. After about a year, listen for a faint beep that…

So far, so good! in Smoke and Fire Alarms

I think it's pretty obvious *why* I bought these smoke and fire alarms so I'll skip that part :) They work as advertised, batteries WERE included which I always like Extras bring happiness and they seem to be working great. My only real complaint about these products is the TERRIBLE instruction manual. Now I don't need instructions for a smoke/fire alarm per se; However, I still want to double check and make sure I'm following all the advice correctly. The instruction manual seems to have been…

Doesn't detect smoke

I'm not an expert but this product appears to pose a risk to human life. I base this opinion on backyard tests I've run, which I'll detail below. I bought a pair of these about 2 years ago. One of these recently started beeping constantly, which is not one of the fault phases listed on the sticker on the back of the smoke alarm. So I threw that away. But I still had one of these in an important place in my house - in the children's room. So I was a little worried about the quality control of…
