Brushless motor requires no brush changes. The Electronic kickback brake engages when a pinch, stall, or bind-up event is sensed, engaging with maximum force to quickly stop the wheel, reduce the movement of the grinder, And shut the motor off. POWER-LOSS RESET® - The ON/OFF trigger switch has a no-volt release function. In the event of a power outage or other unexpected shut down, the trigger switch will need to be cycled (turned off and then on) to restart tool. Variable speed functionality lets the user change wheel speed for applications as needed. DWE46005 bail handle (included) offers multiple positions for user preferred configuration.

A decent grinder for the price. For everyday use maybe

(updated review after buying 3 of these and one dying): one of them died at my last job. After using those few jobs/months the speed dial stopped working (sticks at one speed) then I blew two circuits on the next job before realizing there must be a short. I'll take it to the warranty center but I'm a little disappointed. When the other two start failing, I move on to the check box. All things break sooner or later, so I'll be open to judgment. Grinds very well with the included wheel, but.

In general, this is a very good price. I'm a DIY enthusiast and needed to prep an 11x15 concrete floor for epoxy paint. Peeling and sticking of previous paintwork and leftover vinyl tile was a problem. This meat grinder chewed them up efficiently and efficiently. Unfortunately. The instructions cost next to nothing. The right tool for the job!

I recently carved an old ceramic floor from the early 80's (yes, it was ugly.), What's left is what you could call a relief map of the Himalayas without snow peaks and Yeti tracks.
