Great drill and impact tool, batteries too small for each tool

Drill and impact tool are AWESOME. Loads of power and great features for the money. The batteries that come with this particular kit are a joke and should never have been included in the most powerful brushless drill Dewalt has ever made. I understand they wanted to include some sort of battery, but small 2Ah batteries are not allowed to be in the same box with this drill and impact driver. The little 2.0 is only in its last few minutes of using the drill and would definitely frustrate a new…

Buyers beware - drill bit

I had to borrow a bit from some of the other reviewers when giving my review of this drill set. As one of the other reviewers noted, the shock driver is fantastic. On the other hand, like the one mentioned, the compact drill has a terrible cartridge. The first thing I got was when I inserted my drill bit about 12 inches, the wobble at the end of the bit was a full quarter of an inch. I installed drywall in my basement and when I drilled holes in it to put in anchors for some screws, even this…

Powerful, light and well balanced

When I bought these tools I had no idea how good they were. Remember I've used a Dewalt 18v for years which I bought as part of a 4 tool kit (5 inch circular saw, hacksaw and flashlight with good carrying case, 2 batteries and charger). The old drill still works, but I'm preparing to replace the skin on my deck and need a more powerful drill to get the screws out. On high setting the impact driver loosens 3 1/2" screws in less than 1/3 second or so. The screw literally hits the drill bit…
