Type of review

Excellent screwdriver. Bought at a discount. In this functional category (18 volts, lithium battery, brushless motor and impact drill function), it had the lowest price. I am very pleased with the quality. However, the function of the impact drill is more of a marketing ploy. With a large amount of drilling, it is better to use a hammer drill. In the case of rare drilling of holes in concrete and brick, as a universal tool it will fit.

Pros
  • Beautiful, durable, lightweight. Bright illumination, high power.
Cons
  • Charging smelled of insulation at the first inclusion

It was a reasonable purchase, will order more.

In my absence at the dacha, my wife fastened brackets for profiles (which are under drywall) with a 6mm drill for concrete. Shurik coped with such work effortlessly, but after a couple of not very intensive days of work, the gearbox began to throw off the puncher mode on its own, and the cartridge jammed. And oil leaked from the gearbox. It was impossible to get the drill (it clamps the cartridge perfectly - this is probably an advantage). I had to take it to the official service (it is one…

Pros
  • It spins perfectly, there are no complaints about ergonomics, the backlight is just fire! Batteries are also not bad (although there is nothing to compare with) they charge in 35 minutes (2 Ah). warranty service)
Cons
  • Reliability. (ate. After repair under warranty, everything is good). So after the purchase, you should work more and not regret =)

Reliable drill, with some battery confusion

It's been a long time but I've finally decided to buy a higher quality drill/hammer to replace a dead old Ryobi drill I've had for about 15 years. DeWalt has always been a brand I admired, so I decided to use them for a rat protection project that involved brickwork. So I used it for hammer drilling, drilling and screwing into my exterior walls. It's sooo cool to switch to the right drill press. This solution allowed me to quickly work with all aspects and it was easy to quickly adjust the…

Warranty? You are not behind this.

My rotary hammer stopped working after about the 6th or 7th use. It doesn't make much sense to me to use a hammer drill, but when I do use it it's nice to have one. I contacted DeWalt customer service who was very friendly and helpful. They emailed me a return label. I printed it out and mailed it from my office. I see a lot of deliveries every day. A few days later I got a call from the warranty center. The young lady on the phone told me that she received the package. She then told me it…

  • Everything is fine!

Couldn't live without

This is an absolute must have in my house. I only say that on a very select few subjects, but it's true. I have owned and used many brands and types of corded and cordless power tools and this drill is the only one I will ever need again. First of all coming from the world of various construction, low and high voltage, pre-vertical construction, finishing, house turning, this tool has eclipsed every other I have used in all my work areas over the years . I've used this all day for quick easy…
