The product is 1/4" Split PT Drill Bit. Easy to use. The product is manufactured in China. Pilot Point tip starts on contact for clean, accurate holes and reduces lock-up on breakthrough. No-spin shank eliminates the frustration of bit spinning in the chuck. Tapered web provides greater durability to reduce breaking. Size markings are located above the shank to prevent wearing away. Note: Sizes 1/16-inch to 11/64-inch are split point drill bits; Std Jobber Length Fractional Sizes.

Close enough for government work.

Economical replacement for Dewalt kits. Better than the price at the local big box store, and since they had "extra" free shipping, there was no gas or time wasted buying them.

Great Beats! - Cutting tools

I bought this way to replace the bit of the same size that I broke. (My fault. Too aggressive with the drill.) Dewalt center drills are expensive, but they make it easier to hit the target and drill very well. I have a large set of these beats and love them!

I've learned to be more careful, I hope this one lasts longer than the previous one.

After purchasing a spare bit (perfect fit) from a local shop to replace a worn 1/4" bit, I managed to drill a hole at the wrong angle and get a brand new one to bend. Very frustrating but I don't blame the tool, I just messed it up. Hopefully this new one will last longer and I still have the old one but I just have to be careful with it as it wobbles a lot.
