I love this tool! in Power & Hand Tools

This is my first screwdriver so can't compare to other manufacturers. Looks good and reliable manufacturer. This is a great tool for installing drywall or screwing any kind of piece of wood after you improvise with an electric drill. By adjusting the torque, you can set the screw securely and flush with the surface what you want.

Pros
  • Drywall Screwdriver with helical steel and heat treated gears for durability and longevity
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Great tool for screwdrivers and screwdrivers

When properly adjusted and using the correct length drywall screw for the drywall thickness on wood studs, it is the correct depth every time. This greatly facilitated the work to finish the basement. It was worth every penny even though I haven't used it for a few years. It was very easy to get confused because the dimples were done right. Thanks to Dewalt for a quality tool.

Pros
  • The drywall gun has a metal gear housing for increased durability and reliability on the job site
Cons
  • A few small things

Does the job and more!

This baby has a lot of power. You may be wondering why it stops turning the screw flush when using standard bits. I have a Dewalt bit set with longer shank bits and I tried one of these. Before I could take my finger off the switch, it countersunk the screw about 3/8" into the wood! When driving screws, I find it good to use torx head screws and standard torx bits. The screwdriver leaves the screw about 1/4" below flush and I finish them by hand with a set of torx wrenches.

Pros
  • Superior ergonomics reduce user fatigue.
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared.
