🧼 DEWALT Wool Buffing Pad and Backing Pad Kit - Professional Grade 7-Inch (DW4985CL) Review

Item will work well and I can't wait to try it. However, I don't know what the small white tube, about 3 inches in diameter, is for. I can't figure out how and where to use it.

I got what I asked for. but I didn't do any research. Most woolly buffalo are not used for car and boat detailing. So I also bought a 3M pack.

These pads move off center very easily. I would recommend using the buffer adapter (3m 05710) with the double-sided polishing pad (3m 33280).

I have two of these and they both shed their winter fur like a dog if you use them. Haven't tested long-term use yet, but it took some effort to get the strings off of everything.

I do not recommend these pads. They leave an endless stream of fibers all over the car, not to mention all the fibers that fly in your face. Will definitely not buy again.

Very happy with this set Underlay is ideal for wool Today I don't always use wool as many car paints are not as hard as others but it has stood up to many people, ask what kind if needed Tube it is For a simple answer it aligns the pad for the buffer, also depending on your machine some require a throw adjustment which means from the length = height of this bolt on the machine the travel distance for the pad is set.

The 7 inch pad and DeWalt buffing pad combo works well when it is perfectly parallel to the buffing surface. Unfortunately, the wool pillow doesn't cover the perimeter of the hard plastic pad well. The moment the pad is not perfectly parallel to the polished surface, the hard plastic pad will come in contact with the car. It happened to me.

I ordered this kit to polish my RV! When I received it I was ready to get to work on my RV to start with but it didn't come with a 5/8"-11 drill bit adapter which you absolutely need to get started! I've tried several places to find an adapter that works! It was a pain in the ass! I finally found an adapter that works on Amazon but it was hard to find! If only they would provide an adapter for the drill😡! Otherwise, the polishing pad worked great!
