The most convenient saw I own at Power Tool Parts & Accessories

I've used my oscillating saw to cut things I thought impossible, but with the right blade it can do anything. I use the following blades: Diamond Blade - Cuts through plaster, tile and brick like butter. HSS Blade - Cuts sheet metal, pipe and wire mesh. Steel Blade - For Wood, Aluminum, Copper; not steel

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • The Secret

Durability questionable

I bought this Dewalt blade in addition to the free blades that came with the oscillating tool because I thought it would be a much better option. I couldn't be more wrong. The blade lasted about 5 minutes before it stopped cutting staples. The free blades in the box lasted at least 15. Save money and buy a Bosch blade, took me 30 minutes or more.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • Scarce Manual

Fantastic price on power tool parts and accessories

I needed to buy knives for my brother in law who runs a dairy farm. There seemed to be a lot of "value" packs for a low price, but the comments seem to indicate quality issues and frequent replacements. I firmly believe that you get what you pay for which is why I chose them. The blades remain sharp and do not need to be replaced. He (brother) is very pleased with how easily they cut through everything.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

The teeth broke minutes after the hinge was severed.

Bought to cut an old door hinge. I bought it on purpose as it was said to be able to cut metal. After a few minutes he was cutting metal, but his teeth broke. I had both hinges cut off but the tools were pretty shoddy. The little strip of metal between the hinge and the door was pretty flimsy, so I don't know why it had issues or what type of metal was made to cut.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Not really for cutting metal.

I used this blade to cut off the ends of some screws that were sticking out of the barn door. Bit heated the screws and ignited the wood, but he could barely cut them. He also damaged himself by causing sparks and smoke on the cheap plating of supposed titanium. I may have abused it as the results were so disappointing I can't imagine a company as great as DeWalt making such a crappy product.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

I love them.: Blades

Cuts steel nails and hardened screws in hot conditions during surgical repairs on wood studs to cut tubing to expose or loosen wood fasteners, especially screws or nails. The blade gets very hot and continues to slowly dislodge nearly impossible steel fasteners. Preventing a major overhaul that will require a lot more effort. Otherwise it would usually destroy a typical blade. It's a shame they cost so much, but the cost of this blade outweighs the labor and time involved in a major repair…

The quality is worse than unnamed bulk packs.

I poked 2 nails with this blade before it went bad. I use an oscillating tool to break pallets. It cuts through the nails between the boards and I don't have to worry about the boards breaking or being marked with a pry bar. I usually just buy a large pack of an unknown brand that comes up when I do a search and these blades usually go through about 2 full pallets at a time before becoming unusable. I decided to go ahead and spend a little more on a well known brand like Dewalt, expecting the…

Useless, cannot cut metal. Avoid at all costs.

Never Write Revain Reviews. I'm writing one today to describe how terrible this blade is. I bought these to use a DeWalt oscillating tool to cut through some old nails in my deck. I won't go into detail because this tool just can't do what it was designed to do - cut metal. I tried to cut some old thin nails that had just been nailed to the deck and failed so badly. It barely went through two nails and I looked at the teeth - they are NOT. Literally stripped to the bare brim what a joke. It…
